I took a moment to consult some internal resources and it looks like folks are still able to request a review to see if their business would qualify for a variant limit exemption. To be a bit more clear on these limits, if a business has less than 50,000 variants, then they have no limit of different variant uploads. If they have more than 50,000 variants, then the 1,000 variant limit is set in place. This is separate from the 100 variant uploads limit for a specific product.
I recommend that you reach back out to our Support Team via our AI Assistant (this is an authenticated support channel, and our team needs you to be Authenticated so they can review this request) as craft a message similar to what Shay had advised one of the previous poster. This should help you look into the possibility of having a review of your business completed to see if you’re eligible for any limitation exemptions.
