We are setting up our online Store and we are a Wine and Spirits retailer based in NY. We need to use the Shopify Tax automated calculations so that orders shipped within NY are calculated at the municipal level. We also need to charge a flat tax rate to other states, including Delaware and New Hampshire due to the product being alcohol, however they are generally no sales tax states and so Shopify does not list those states as an option in the ‘States you’re collecting in’ and therefore I cannot set up an override. We cannot change the configuration to manual because we need the automation for New York. Does anyone know of another workaround either by configuration or custom coding at checkout to apply sales tax for Delaware and New Hampshire? Thank you
