Page will not load if I type "www." in address line

if i type my web address without the www. it loads fine, but if I type www.appleblossomgiftbaskt.com then I get an “error 1001 DNS resolution error” any ideas?

Hi Vcockerham2002,

  • Log in to your domain registrar’s website where you manage your domain’s DNS settings.
  • Verify that there is a CNAME record for “www” pointing to your main domain

If not you will have to add one.

This will be a problem more based around your domain provider rather than shopify

Thank you, shopify is my domain provider and these are my settings. Is this correct?

That definitely the right place. It should be pointing to your URL though, rather than the shops.myshopify.com
