Password-protected or INVITE ONLY online store access.

Hi,

I am launching my ecom store soon and wanted to create Password-protected or INVITE ONLY online store access for my launch.

Do I need an app for this? I would rather not have to code anything…

Shopify has it’s own built-in feature to protect store with password. And by default each store password protected. Or you can setup it later by following these steps.

  1. Log into Shopify Admin
  2. Go to Online Store → Preferences
  3. Scroll Down to the “Password Protection” Section
  4. Check the box that says “Enable password”
  5. Enter a password (Visitors will need this to access your store)
  6. (Optional) Add a message → This appears on the password page
  7. Click “Save”
