Troubleshooting attempted:

  • Clearing cache and testing in incognito mode
  • Consulting AI chat helper (unsuccessful)

Potential solutions mentioned:

  • Contact Shopify support directly, as the issue may stem from a third-party app conflict
  • Consider disabling third-party apps/tools to isolate the problem
  • Alternative testing option: Using the “Bogus Gateway” method (requires deactivating and re-setting up Shopify Payments)

The issue remains unresolved and requires further investigation with Shopify support.

Hi!

I’m in test mode, and I’ve entered all the correct test information, including the Shopify test credit card. But the “Pay Now” button is still disabled at checkout. If I switch payment to ¨Paypal,¨ the button activates. I have tried to clear my cache and also in incognito. I’ve tried asking the AI chat helper, but it wasn’t very helpful. Is there something I might be missing?

I am using Shopify Payments, and I know there’s the ¨Bogus Gateway¨ approach as well. And I am assuming that is the same thing to successfully test a payment? I have not tried this method yet since I have to deactivate Shopify Payments then re-set it up.

Thank you

Hi there @lemonstreet I suggest that you get in touch with Shopify support today, the issue is likely from maybe a third party application causing issues on the dashboard so you should consider maybe disabling any third party apps or tools currently on your site. If that doesn’t work, then just wait for the feedback from Shopify support.
