  • How can one go about payment gateway in South Africa, shopify payment are not allowed

Have you heard about authorize? It is a third party payment gateway that can be use with Shopify.

  • For countries that do not support the Shopify Payment gateway, you may have other options such as: PayPal, Stripe, 2Checkout..

  • Also you need to Create an account with Payment Gateway >>> Integrate Payment Gateway with Shopify >>> Configure payment settings. These are the main headers you need to set up in the sections I gave above, once you are done you can successfully set up an alternative payment gateway for your Shopify store, enabling you to accept payments even if Shopify Payments is not available in your country.
