Hi, I’m looking for suggestions for a payment gateway provider in Bangladesh that can integrate with a store I have developed and is ready to launch. In need to be able to process payments in the native currency (BDT).
So far my experience with the suggested providers on the Shopify site has provided two deadends.
- FasterPay will only process payments of the store currency is set to USD and will not work in the native BDT.
- dlocal - whilst initially they assures me that “Yes we to process payments in Bangladesh and in their local currency. We can definitely assist.” they have now done a complete 180 and said that a solutions is “currently unavailable”.
If anyone has experience in the Bangladesh market and can make some suggestions that would be much appreciated.
