I have Dawn theme and the payment icons are simply not displaying. It only displays when the bogus gateway is enabled, but not for my supported payment method. The issue is clearly not in the code or the ticking of the display icon box, but rather with the supported payment method? My store URL is https://mangofoods.myshopify.com/
Any guidance will be appreciated.

I appreciate that you have let us know which theme is being used as that is very helpful. Looking into the URL that you have provided, I noticed that you have payment icons displayed. Did you happen to make any custom coding changes to the footer of your online store?
In order to have the payment icons displayed in the footer, you will need to make sure that you have enabled your payment icons in the footer of your online store. If that is selected and you are unable to view the payment icons, this may be due to the accepted payment methods within the Shopify Payments gateway. You can double check and enable the different payment methods by navigating to Settings > Payments > Manage (Shopify Payments). I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
Once you are managing the gateway, we will need to ensure that Shopify Payments allows your store to accept all major credit cards.

I inserted a png file in the footer as the payment icons for the additional payment method is simply not displaying.
It seems a bit of a run-around as only some of the accepted payment methods display their icons and not all of them.
