Paynow in Singapore

If we integrate PayNow through a third-party provider, Shopify will charge us additional transaction fees. This feels unreasonable — Shopify is pushing us to use Shopify Payments while not providing PayNow support, and at the same time penalizing us for using another provider that offers this essential payment method.

Why doesn’t Shopify simply enable PayNow through the same Stripe account we already have? This would provide a smoother customer experience and avoid unnecessary extra charges for merchants.

We sincerely request Shopify to either:

1. Enable PayNow as a supported payment method under Shopify Payments (via Stripe), or

2. Waive the additional transaction fees for using a third-party PayNow provider.

Thank you for your attention. We hope Shopify can address this issue promptly to better support merchants in Singapore.

There is a third party solution available with Stripe. Look at Shopify Stripe Checkout that does not charge additional commissions, only Stripe fees.

hihi Lamofe, Singapore we only can choose the Shopify Payments, not have Stripe to choose. And we have to use thirt party for Paynow, so shopify will charge Extra 1%.
