I have contacted Support this morning as my scheduled payout failed this morning. I have contacted my bank and they have said there are no issues there. Support say this is an issue affecting some sellers however no indication when this will be fixed and I am unclear how widespread this issue is. Anyone else experiencing this issue which needs to be escalated?

I’ve had an open ticket since last Thursday. For reasons unknown, the Finance screen is insisting on me providing an EIN even though I am Sole Proprieter and don’t need or use one. Nothing changed by us in 3+ years of troublefree payment flow.
Shopify changed/broke something on the backend last week and are now holding 95% of our payouts since last Thursday.
Chat people keep telling me it has been “escalated” but no resolution as of yet.
Oddly enough, a few random payments have gone through to the bank, most when a customer uses Shop Pay or Apple Pay.
This is a huge problem and the fact that I can’t get this resolved is mind boggling!

I have had an email now. 10pm. Wont be recieving our payout until the 30th september which is absolutely mental. Im fuming because i cant pay my invoices or wages. Cant order stock either, we get weekly payouts and do all our payments every monday so im screwed and honestly its not good enough on shopifys behalf.

I have had an email saying payment will go through in a. couple of days. Today’s payment has gone through thank goodness!
