Today is 02.07.25. After 6 years of building our store from nothing to 350 000€ / year with 15 000 customers, we are forced to close and go bankrupt as Shopify stopped paying out our money without any explanation and any contact from their end. This message is a warning to others thinking of running a shop on Shopify. Just don’t do it.
At that, I see no other solution than to end my life as I can’t bear the thought of losing thousands of hours and tens of thousands because some corporate giant decided to play God. I just can’t bear it anymore. I just hope once I’m really gone this message will find it’s way to more people. Bye
