PayPal Express Checkout transactions not tracking in Google Analytics

I’ve just realised the reason why our sales in Google Analytics (and ultimately Google Ads) data is incorrect is because PayPal Express Checkout transactions aren’t being tracked.

I’ve just spoken to Shopify who say this is to be expected.

I’m surprised by this and was wondering if there was a guide somewhere on how to fix this?

same issue here - big implications for us. shopify didnt help at all. Anyone with a solution here?
