Paypal seems to be broken at checkout

When I fill out the checkout form and click Paypal Express as a payment method, it shows me on paypal the default currency of the store (EUR), even though I am located in UK and the whole process has been in GBP. Plus it’s not recalculated into EUR, but just replaces the GBP with EUR. The actual price is 39 GBP and it just switches to 39 EUR in paypal.

Also, when I fill out the whole checkout form and then click on paypal (non express, the regular one at the bottom), cleans the last name and the email address of the filled form.

Can someone please advise?

Furthermore, it seems that I can’t click the Apple Pay button as a „purchase now“ option on the product page. The one next to the add to cart.
when I hit it, nothing happens.
