I have set up a subscription payment plan in PayPal which I want to apply to one specific product - not all products. Paypal has generated the code I need to include in Shopify but can anyone please advise where I should paste the code. I have Dawn theme.

Just so I understand your request properly, is this link going to send the customer to paypal to checkout for a recurring payment? On the product you want this on, are you looking to remove the add to cart/checkout button and replace it with this link instead?

If you have a Stripe account in the EU, UK, and Switzerland you can offer subscriptions for your with PayPal via Stripe for the products you want.
