I’m not the most artistic person and I was trying to shoot for a more unique and custom styled site but I have my limitations, obviously if you check the site. I was just hoping someone on here could provide some feedback on what might need tweaking as well as any advice on how I could change it to make the site more approachable. Anything helps, thanks!

What do you think about including a discount code or free shipping offer? This would be a great way to create a buyer incentive and get your visitors browsing.
You have beautiful products available on your online store! You could potentially add a slideshow section as the first section on the online store using the Theme Editor. This can allow you to strengthern your brand by showcasing your products to your visitors as soon as they arrive. For example, you could include your best seller or favorite product in the slides. It can also make the homepage more engaging and interactive.

I agree on the slideshow, should it just take over the spot of the image with text banner or should I change that out for the featured products section I have? I also have difficulty once adding the section, actually finding solid product pictures that fit the size of the space as well as choosing a font color or family that is easily readable with the background pictures. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

That is a great question! I would suggest making the slideshow section under the header navigation menu as this will display for your visitors as soon as they arrive.

I like the layout a lot better, but I feel like it would look better if the photos were a bit more zoomed out and clearer but I can’t figure out how to do that so that the image will still look good on any monitor or screen size.

I think your online store is looking great with the added slideshow section. You may be able to make changes to the slide images by navigating to the Theme Editor and selecting on the slideshow section. Once you selec on the slideshow, you should see the option to make changes to the layout. I took a screenshot from my test store to provide an example:
