After looking through several threads, comments, and even creating a post of my own, I’ve seen how many people this issue has affected and felt it was necessary to create a petition. People have been complaining about default package sizing for 2 years now, there’s no reason it should still be an issue on such a major platform. Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out with this feedback and also create the petition. I can definitely understand how having custom packaging sizes would be really beneficial to a lot of merchants.
We do have an internal system within Shopify whereby we collect merchant feedback - the more “votes” we get for certain features, the more likely this is to be included in a future platform update. I want to let you know I have added your feedback in favor of this feature. While I cannot guarantee this means this feature will happen, it certainly does make it more likely.
