I can add to my collections in the “backend” HOWEVER no images or collections actually appear on my website?! I have tried going to “menu” and changing the settings as well as “pages” and “navigations”… This issue is really frustrating
Hi @Elisehall
Welcome to the Shopify forums!
Would you mind sharing a link and some visual explanation so we can understand what’s going on here?
Hiya, can’t find an answer online… but when I add the collection to the main page the little pre-filled shopify photos changes to an “x” image… for example, from the original theme (expanse), then I link a collection
After linking my collection, with new photo, it goes dead:
Not just on the backend, but also in the preview…
What have I missed!? THANK YOU!
@47Silver What is the image type you are using on the Collection that was linked here? Let me know!
HOLY SMOKES! That is the world’s FASTEST response!
Let’s see, I uploaded a random jpeg only 576kb, which is 1000p x1000 and 96dpi.
And my own are also jpegs about 766kb… and usually 2600x2150 pixel 240dpi.
.. and same result - the dead photo
Intriguing, would you mind sharing your store’s URL privately so we can request collaborator access and check this out?
Let me know!
Sure, should I sent to the e-mail below then?
It happens sometimes due to system drowning maybe. you need to resize the images that you want to use in your Shopify admin. I also tried it with my site which is about kabuki masks (a collection of many small items).
Yes @47Silver , we will send an access request within a few hours, it’s 1AM on our part of the world! ![]()
