Hello, when i add the buy with/upsell section to my theme it seems it uses the same item suggestion on every item page. Short of creating a custom template for each page with suggestions how can i suggest specific items for specific product pairings? Thanks
solved by creating metafield & adding the products from the product listing page instead of product page in the editor!
metafield name = theme.upsell
make sure you place the box in the theme editor so it can display correctly on the product page but dont set the item from the editor! add the metafield it allows the customization from individual product pages!

Hello I just saw this conversation and decided to chime in as I had the same problem that I resolved exactly the same way. Customized Upsell products are featured now on all product pages but they do not follow to the cart. How to repeat the same in the cart together with the info: to save the delivery cost buy with:
