Placing Shopify variants over variants created with app

Hello,

I am using a Shopify App to create extra variants of my products, to bypass the 99 Variants limit. But I still also use the standard Shopify variants on top of that for various reasons.

My Problem is, that the variants created with the App (App= Product Options by BSS) are displayed on top of the standard Shopify variants. I want it the other way around, so the standard variants are on top (See picture. Categories created with App are circled red and Shopify standard variants are circled blue)

I just can’t figure out how to switch the positions as I dont even know where the App has implemented their code.

Best regards :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello,

Thank you very much for the answer but I think you misread the question. I already have the variant picker in the right spot but this doesn’t fix the problem. On top of the normal variants I can create with Shopify I have also created two more variants with an App (Circled in red in my picture). These extra variants are not included in the standard variant picker and also dont appear when you go to product variants in the Shopify backend.

I want these two extra variants to be below my standard Shopify variants.

I also wasn’t able to change the order in the code, because I can’t find the piece of code, that the variant App has implemented.

Hi Litsch, I’m having the same problem you had; and I saw you solved it.

How did you do it? I cannot find the EXPO piece of code that would allow me to change the place of the new variants.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello @dharo-aguayo ,

I actually wasn’t able to fix it myself. Instead I wrote to the creators of the variant app and asked for help (the app is called “Product Options by BSS”). Im using a free plan of the app but they still put in a lot of effort to help me. I gave them the permission to edit my code for a short amount of time and they fixed it for me.
