I am posting this to see if any other users out there would like this functionality. I have no idea if it’s my theme or Shopify, but once an order is placed and paid for (not processed as we charge orders manually after they are placed) I CANNOT amend the shipping.
Example.
A customer places an order 6 items, and shipping is calculated by weight and added to the order. The client then contacts me to add more items. I can add the new items with no problem, BUT I then have to manually figure out the new cost of shipping and add it as a custom new line item as a supplement in the order as I CANNOT adjust the shipping cot for the new weight of the order.
Is this a SHOPIFY or a THEME issue?
This is MIND BOGGLING why Shopify does not allow for this if it is SHOPIFY. Is this something that can be addressed, changed or fixed?
