This is our first year using Shopify for e-commerce and after 45 minutes of searching and googling I seriously cannot find a straightforward Summary Report of the Shopify Payment fees deducted from our 2023 sales. Is this available somewhere? It seems like it should be really obvious, what am I missing?
I need to enter this total in my Quickbooks under Merchant Processing Fees for our 2023 taxes.

You can try “Payout” reports. Also Quickbooks connector apps in Shopify app store has built-in settings that can help you reconcile your payment processor fees.
would be super if they could just give us that access in a straightforward format. It’s ridiculous to have to add up every total from a line, or wait days for a csv download to maybe come to the email.
absolutely agree! running a business is challenging enough, do I have to export a CSV and run math formulas to get my tax numbers? argh lol ridiculous!!
Shopify has moved the Merchant’s summary.
Log in
On the main page, Click on Finance
Go to accounts on the RH side and select receivables
A menu is on the top RH side; select documents ( the centre option ). This will load your tax documents

NO REAL SOLUTION SAVE FOR EXPORTING ENTIRE YEAR INTO A SPREADSHEET AND ADDING-UP THE FEE COLUMN.
You know, like we used to do it 20 years ago!!
After years of searching every year for my merchant fee totals, having to dig through this forum for UPDATED information only to find out that I have to export the entire year of transactions and total them up myself, it appears Shopify wants to hide or bury their fees on purpose.
Yeah, just another corporation operating “in the best interests of their customers.” NOT.
