We could fit at least double the number of products on the screen if the tiles were smaller. Such a waste of real estate.
You can play around with tinkle bit of css to adjust your layout.
It’s the POS, so no css can solve this.

I completely get your point with this! This is a great recommendation, and great feedback, that we would love to forward over to our development team. Similar to our previous discussion through the POS 10.19.2 unit count removed Shopify Community post, our merchants feedback is crucial and we are always open to hearing from our merchants.
Ideally, instead of having the tiles or buttons smaller, it would be great for a bit of customization with the POS app so that merchants can select their own size preference.
My recommendation would be to have you get in-touch with our Retail Team by visiting the Shopify Help Center to submit your feedback/recommendation so that we can forward it over to our development team.
