Would you recommend running a PMax (ROAS) campaign and a Shopping (clicks) campaign for the same product simultaneously?
Hello Foo Bar, thank you for your question in the FeedArmy AMA Event.
Yes, I would. For a few months now Google has changed how priorities work between performance max and standard shopping.
If a product in standard shopping gets a higher ranking, the auction will be won by the standard shopping campaign.
This allows you to see which search terms are being used and allows you to bid more effectively. But mainly, the search term reports are the bonus in this case, so you can improve your product data in Google merchant center.
But if in case you are selling branded products, you should setup an advanced standard shopping campaign. Here is an explainer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiRIDzRrHno
