is there a way to show a pop up box / banner when a customer clicks on a shareable link for one of my discount codes?

for example - they click the discount code link and when they land on the site a pop up box informs them that “Your discount code “XYZ” has been automatically applied.”

As of now, they have to get all the way to check out to confirm that the discount code worked.

I always am trying to figure this out. I swear shopify used to do this automatically!
