popups only stay open for a couple seconds

Two different features on my site display a popup.

  1. When you click on the main image, it displays an enlarged image, but only for a couple seconds, and then it reloads the page.

  2. If you click on the Affirm text, it displays some info, but only for a couple seconds, and then it reloads the page.
