Why are the buttons on this screen so small and prone to user error?
They could be so much bigger and more friendly:

I completely understand your point with this, and understand how user error can be caused by tapping on the incorrect payment method. The AI (Google Gemini) generated mockup of the payment methods appearing in the Shopify POS Checkout is great! The current design is displayed almost as a list, whereas the mockup that you have created introduces separated buttons with larger font, and going back to your initial point, it is likely to lower the amount of user error that can be caused.
