POS - Selecting B2B Companies as Customers

We run our Shopify store as a purely B2B operation, but we also have B2B walk-in customers. Ideally, we’d like to use the POS system and have the company name appear instead of the customer’s name when processing sales. Is this functionality currently possible? If not, is it something planned for future updates?

Thank you!

We’ve reported this for months. It’s a major failing that we cannot, essentially, service our B2B customers that come into our brick and mortar stores through POS. We have to follow Shopify’s clunky workaround in Admin which is really bush-league.

When you say you want it on the company’s name, do you mean for it to display on the receipt or you want that order to be associated to the company as it would with an online B2B order?

I agree, this is a major gap. We have both actual B2B customer and walk in customers that are companies and need the functionality of having a company - multiple contacts, payment terms etc. The idea of just setting them up as a regular customer type is not workable.

you can contact zon b2b app i think they are compatible with shopify pos
