Main issue: Automatic inclusion of the recently purchased product’s name and image in the first post‑purchase email.
Context: The poster is setting up Shopify flows (automations). They can add products to emails manually but want dynamic content that pulls the specific item from the customer’s order (e.g., “Thank you for your recent purchase of ‘Aran Sweater’” with its image).
Additional need: Personalize the email with the customer’s name.
Ask: Whether Shopify/flows or a Shopify app can automatically insert these elements and how to configure it.
Status: No answers or implementation details provided yet; the request remains open.
Is there a way to include a reference/image of the recent product purchased by the customer in the first post purchase email. For example,
"Thank you for your recent purchase of “Aran Sweater” and it will have an image of the product. So Shopify would automatically reference whatever product was bought?
In the process of setting up flows at the moment. I am able to add in products from my e-commerce shop, but am wondering if the system can automatically insert a photo with name of the recent purchase when sending a post-purchase email to a customer. I would also like to include the customer’s name so the email is more personal.
if you have any information about this, I would be very grateful.
