Hi for those of you in the UK that post to France. Are you aware of the French Packaging Act? They have followed Germany who started in 2019. https://activate.reclay.de/activate_germany_german/ The German fee is manageable for a small business like mine, but for France the fee is higher. https://www.leko-organisme.fr/clients/#pourquoi , https://activate.reclay.de/activate_germany_german/details-zu-leko The French form on the Leko site when translated cannot be completed as it asks for a EU VAT ID , i am not VAT registered as below the threshold . I have emailed Leko for clarification but heard nothing. Once you are registered with Leko you can use Reclay the same as Germany to put your packaging quantities in and pay the 80 euro fee, There are hefty fines for those not complying. As i say Germany started in 2019 and i have been ok with that, but France fee is a big jump. I do post to France but not sure if it warrants a 80 Euro fee.
Any advice from anyone who has successfully registered for France?
