Pre-order solution that supports bulk actions/ automation

Hi all,

Looking for a way to solve the following problem:

When a variant goes out-of-stock, we want to offer customers a way to pre-order that product. I realize that there are many apps that support this functionality and have researched the majority.

We also require the ability to automatically sync updates for those variants, ideally either through bulk CSV upload or an API. We’d like to be able to control the pre-orderable quantity and expected shipment date without having to modify each product within a pre-order app individually.

Does anyone know of any apps that can support this, or have any creative solutions? Really appreciate your thoughts!

Hi, @adamr12 Did you try one of the Shopify Apps called Pre-Order Manager - PreOrder. It seems to have the features that you need.

See if that works, if not we will find another solution for you.

Hi @ReturnPrime – thanks for your reply!

That is actually the app that we’re hoping to move away from. They do mention “bulk editing”, however they do not allow you to bulk modify product details (like quantity available and the date that appears on the pre-order button) – only bulk-activate products as pre-orderable.
