Price not showing on collection and product page

My product price is not showing in the product page or collection page. I think it might have been hidden or removed by my graphic designer. Is there a way I can locate to unhide or add?

Step 1. Check Theme Settings:

You should check the sections for the product page and collection page settings to ensure that the price is enabled. (Online Store > Themes > Customize > Check pages).

Step 2. Edit Theme Code:

  • In the Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
  • Click on Actions > Edit code.
  • Look for the template files related to the product and collection pages (product.liquid, collection.liquid, or related sections like product-template.liquid).
  • Ensure that the code to display the price is present. It typically looks like this: {{ product.price | money }}
  • If the code is missing, you can add it back in the appropriate place within the template files.

Step 3. Check CSS:

  • Open the theme.scss.liquid or styles.css file in the code editor.
  • Search for any CSS that might be hiding the price. It might look something like:

.product-price {
display: none;
}

  • Remove or comment out this CSS rule if found.
