What is the best price tracking tool for my startup? I want to launch my store with competitive prices (not the lowest, prices to support a good value.) I’ve looked at ScrapeHero for Shopify and it seems like a decent tool to compare Shopify stores. Prisnyc seems somewhat complex to set up and costs $100 per month. I’m wondering if there is a tool that is easy to set up, affordable and effective and compares Shopify and Amazon (if possible).

Hey @TMassingill ! ![]()
Thanks for bringing up price tracking tools. I’ve seen a few that many merchants find useful:
Prisync:
- Offers real-time competitor price tracking with a user-friendly dashboard.
- Great for keeping an eye on market trends.
Price2Spy:
- Provides detailed reporting and insights on competitor pricing.
- Useful if you need deep analytics over time.
It might be worth trying a demo of each to see which fits your store’s needs best. What features are most important for you?
Hope this helps! If you’re happy with the solution please mark as accepted or solved. ![]()
Thanks, Alexis. I’ve read that Prisync can be frustratingly complex to set up. The pricetag is also a bit much, but I wouldn’t be averse if it was easy to use and effective. This recent Shopify article also recommends PriceMole, Price Compare by The App Geeks, Equate - Product Compare, and Lengow. I’d like to hear from people who have used one of those, or have reference to whether they are good, affordable options.

Best,
I’ve worked with a few shops that needed something simpler and more adaptable than the big platforms. One tool that worked well was Price Parrot, they were super responsive and helped set up a lightweight, customized solution without the complexity. If you’re looking for something that fits your specific use case, it’s worth reaching out to a few smaller tools that are more open to tailoring things around your needs.
