ANY ONE ELSE HAD ISSUES WITH SHOPIFY COLLECTIVE - I was over charged hundreds of pounds on a pricing issue earlier this year and still not been paid back
This is a very long time to be running around chasing this, not only frustrating, but hundreds of pounds too. There are a couple of things to note in regard to pricing:
Review if Retail Price Sync is enabled for the product (Collective app > Suppliers > product settings). When it’s on, your price will update automatically when the supplier does so, or increase/decrease with a margin change (which is a fairly common reason all this mismatch occurs without a human being realizing in real time).
If what you’re doing isn’t the above, it is probably a “simple” mistake by Shopify and not the shop owner, and that doesn’t get auto-refunded even if proven wrong. You’ll have to create a ticket with the Shopify Helpdesk and request that they examine it specifically as a billing error, bringing the order numbers, the dates of the orders, and so on.
This would help to narrow it down if you answered these two questions:
A mistake on one order and one only, or a thing applied over many orders?
Have you already tried to go through Shopify’s Support or just tried to solve it with the supplier?
That sounds really frustrating. If you’ve already reported it and it’s still not resolved, You should follow up with Shopify Support and ask for an update on your case using your existing ticket or reference number.
If the overcharge was caused by a Shopify Collective pricing issue, having screenshots of the charges and the related orders can also help move things forward.
Out of curiosity, was the overcharge on supplier payouts, customer charges, or your Shopify invoice? That might help narrow down what’s going on.
