Hello, Community i made a product page using horizon theme, wherein i wanted to add another product below the main product using custom sections, I’ve managed to add the product but when i select the variant “21x31 in”, in checkout the first variant which is “18x28 in” is being shown, please help me resolve this issue.

Regarding the mentioned issue, we reviewed the store but could not find the problem with the variant changes at checkout as you described. Could you please share a screen recording if possible,so we can better understand the issue and proceed with the necessary solution?

You can see even if i’ve selected 20x30" variant, the checkout window still shows 18x28" being selected

We have reviewed the issue. To proceed with the exact solution, it would be helpful if we could get collaborator access. You can send us access via the “Users and permissions” section by adding “support@zestard.com” as a staff. Once the error is resolved, you can revoke the access.

Have experienced these issues before. And in my experience this has mostly to do with a bug in the theme code which does update the selected variant and only adds the first available variant that Shopify selects on page load.
Most of the times, it’s just commenting a line of code, the main challenge here is to read the code and get to the bug.
Anyways this will require Collab access to the store to read through it.

The variant id input for the real form never actually changes.
More than likely you’ve made bad code such as by nesting forms, or separate forms with no connection/relation to be able to affect each other, or not even having the proper structure for the form in either it’s inputs or related javascript.
So etc etc etc.
So potentially a lot of work for someone else to fix way beyond the courtesy of a forum post.
