Hey, found the bug. Works pretty well now adding the right variants to the cart. Since it looked good i made the changes on the published theme so the live site as well.

A store owner reported that customers cannot select product color variations—the cart always adds the first color instead of the chosen one. This affects all products with variations.
Root Cause Identified:
A JavaScript error was found in the product-info.js file. The issue persisted even after disabling and uninstalling the Opus Cart Upsell app, suggesting theme code corruption.
Resolution:
A developer (Shadab_dev) was granted collaborator access and successfully debugged and fixed the variant selection issue on the live site.
Remaining Issue:
A secondary problem emerged with the “Buy More and Save More” bundle feature (powered by Maxbundle app)—selecting pink color still adds blue to cart. The store owner was advised to contact the app developers, as this appears to be app-specific functionality. The developer offered paid assistance if the app support cannot resolve it.
Additional Note:
The cart icon bubble doesn’t update product counts without page refresh, though this wasn’t prioritized for fixing.

Hey, I just saw it now – thanks a lot! Just one last thing, I don’t know if you can fix it: when I select the ‘Buy More and Save More’ option and choose the pink color, then press ‘Add to Cart’ to get the discount, it still adds the blue color to the cart. A client just told me about this. Sorry to bother you again!
I believe you are using an app for this bundle discount feature.
You can try contacting the app developers for this. If they give you a solution great, if not then myself am not too sure but I can definitely try to debug this or may be work around to come up with a solution. But will have my service charges included this time if i can come up with something.
Also I don’t know if you have noticed your cart bubble on the header cart icon which shows the number of products in the cart does not update on the go and the page needs to be refreshed for the changes to show.
Which app are you using by the way for this bundle feature??
