A customer just let me know that when viewing the IG shop mobile format, the product description for all products in my catalogue are showing up all the coding etc - screen shot example is below.
Does anyone know how to fix this? The product information is taken straight from Shopify and I understand you cannot alter this between IG shop and Shopify.

Can you post here the URL of the specific product in the store?
Anyway if I look at the screenshot it seems that you had a lot of CSS styles embedded in the product description.
This happens usually when you copy and paste text from a document processor (Iike Microsoft Word)
I suggest to try to edit the product and clean up the code.
Proceed in this way:
The use the Shopify editor features to add hyperlinks, bold, italic or whatever you need.

Shopify advised me:
To have this corrected, you will need to add the rich_text_description field into you data feed within your Facebook Business Center to have the descriptions displaying correctly. For more information on how to do this directly within the Facebook Business Center, please check out their Product Description Specifications for Catalogs | Facebook Business Help Center for more details.
However I am finding it really difficult to figure out how to complete the above process? Can anyone help? I have spent a lot of time trying to understand this and unfortunately I am still a beginner at this.
