When ever my website is shared on facebook or when searched on google the wrong image shows up.

You can check the link preview here: Sharing Debugger - Meta for Developers Sometime it takes time for meta platforms to update the link previews if you update the URL preview Image.

Hello, it’s still showing the wrong image after almost 5 hours. There must be something else wrong or is this normal?
