I was not so long ago accepted as a Shopify Affiliate Partner and got access to Impact.
Yesterday, I successfully referred Shopify to someone, and they paid for a plan.
I contacted Shopify and Impact, and by the looks of it, it’s all a mess for me.
First time with Shopify (summary):
Me: Hi, someone opened a Shopify store with my link and paid for a plan.
Shopify agent: Hi, the store you’re referring to was not created by using an affiliate link.
Me: But on my Impact account I can see an amount of ‘action’ that is greater than 0.
Shopify agent: They must’ve just went on Shopify and opened a store regularily.
Me: No, they used my link …
First time with Impact: If you can see ‘clicks’ on your dashboard, everything is done right. If you can see ‘actions’ you should get paid.
Second time with Shopify: “… you will be needing to contact Impact directly the reason why is, the affiliate program is hosted on the 3rd party platform - Impact. So there are a lot of things we cannot see on our end such as a referral link not being attributed to a partner. These links are generated by impact so they will have more insight on it.”
Second time with Impact: If you can see ‘clicks’ and ‘actions’, you’ve done everything right.
Can someone help me? I’m confused.
