Hey man

Having an issue with the new Atelier free theme by Shopify. The description looks super narrow on desktop for some reason. Not sure why this is happening? It seems that this is an error in the theme as standard. Tried downloading a new version from the store and it has the same issue. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @al00 ,

I got your problem this error caused by the “Max. bredde” (Max width) setting being set to “Smal”.

Just follow these steps in the Shopify theme editor:

  • Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.
  • Open a product page where the issue happens.
  • Click the “Beskrivelse” (Text block).
  • Under “Max. bredde”, change it from “Smal” → “Ingen” or “Normal”.
  • Also click “Udfyld” (Fill) under Bredde if available.

This will let the text block use the full width it’s allowed on desktop, fixing the awkward narrow wrapping.

Please let me know it solves the problem ,

Thanks !

@al00 - can you please share this page link?

Doesn’t fix the issue - I set the width to “udfyld” and the max width to “ingen” for the description. See the picture for reference.

Page is currently using another theme - I’m just testing this one out, so I can’t share the link right now
