Hey all - hoping someone can help me crack this…

So I can see the description block on the editor but its blank and when I click it I get No customizable settings available. I have added text to the item description under my collection so it would apply to all if I am correct but none of my items have a description. I believe if I go in to each individual item and add a description from my product list page then that works but I need to be able top apply this to whole collections.

Hi!

The description block in the customizer is just to tell the page you want to display a description in that location.

You will need to make a product description for each product you list as they all have their own separate descriptions.

You can change the overall feel of the site via the customise menu such as site text style, color etc, wheres you customise the product description within a products page via the WYSIWYG editor.

The collection description will be played on the collection page of that collection, it doesn’t add a description to each product :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes unfortunately not, you might be able to do some mass changes in the Bulk Editor or there may even be an app that allows you to set descriptions for products with a certain tag but I can’t think of any off the top of my head.

I have added it already on my products page, but it still is not popping up on my store.

Hi, I have this issue but within the product page editor. I can write the title and other text box but the description says ‘No customizable settings available.’ when I try to write there. FYI I’m brand new and the store isn’t launched or anything, this is my first product. Thanks!

Same issue here!

get off the builder/customizer back to the page with the to-do list and settings. Find ‘products’ and you can edit there.
