Product Description not showing on mobile

Hi there,

I need some help. I have looked up the community and multiple forums but have been unable to resolve this.

Theme used: Prestige

Context: My website has a few customisable products that are hosted by Kickflip. Just for these customisable products, I’m using ‘Product Descriptions by AMP’. All other products are on the default template on the theme and have no issues with product or their descriptions.

Issue: The product description for the customisable products are not visible on mobile. When previewing the page on Shopify it shows the descriptions correctly. However, when actually viewing it on mobile after publishing, the descriptions are not seen. From the product (driven by Kickflip customiser) the very next section is the footer (missing the description in the middle).

Does someone have any solutions or suggestions for me, please?

Can you please provide store url or product url where you are facing issue? also provide password if have!

Sure. the store is:

zorganique.myshopify.com

No password, the store is live. As an example, when viewing https://zorganique.com.au/products/coconut-oil-body-lotion on mobile, the descriptions are not visible.

you product changed to customizable product for mobile version and it takes you to the third party app view thats why your description has disappear for mobile version or desktop both views refer to the url below

The issue is in the mobile view when you open in mobile device, you can check in the address bar the new query parameter “?&view=mczrmobile” added automatically.

So please check in the Shopify app that you have installed any mobile view or responsive design app for making desktop view mobile friendly that is affecting or just checking the settings and customization of Kickflip app, if mobile settings are there then just disable and then check the issue.

You may need to check and select display description of product on mobile view from your 3rd party app which you are using to display your products on mobile devices.

Thanks again. Now I see the evidence. There are no display settings on the Kickflip app. So, I have contacted Kickflip now.

Thank you. It does look like the customisation app is driving it. I have other non-custom products that are behaving as expected.
