When shopify sync’s my store to google, many of the product descriptions are “restricted” because of “health claims” - would you recommend modifying the description on the Shopify Item itself, or to avoid having to change all the item descriptions, is it possible to not sync the product descriptions and leave them blank for the google listing somehow?
Hello Dan, great question. Yes that is normal. Google doesn’t allow you to make any claims or statements if you are selling healthcare, medicine or supplements.
In this case, you need to remove all claims and statements, both on the website and in the data feed.
No, it is not possible to not submit a description, all products must have a description.
