We are using the Symmetry theme & have the Gravity Software app “VariaSlide - image gallery” app installed to manage assigning images to different variants.
I am chasing more customisability that what we can currently achieve. Listed below is what we can do and things we want to do but are not able to do with our current tech stack.
Any advice here for alternate apps or code modification are welcome.

Currently able to:
• Assign images to variants
• Choose how our product page gallery appears: carousel, gallery, slider
• Click to rotate through images in the side gallery
• Add youtube iframes to images in product images via alt text
Want to be able to:
• Assign video to variants
• Be able to customise product page gallery - e.g. be able to scroll through gallery thumbnails as well as click through. To combine the carousel and gallery functionalities.
• Display variants as individual products on the collection pages.
