In a previous eCommerce system we had the ability to convert abandoned carts to draft orders and then ‘convert’ the order when the customer phoned as they had an issue completing the order.
Anyone else think that Shopify should include in the product roadmap?

That’s a really good point, being able to turn a cart into a draft order is super useful, especially for B2B or phone orders.
If it helps, there’s actually an app that already does this: Casper – Cart Sync.
It not only saves each customer’s cart (and syncs it across devices), but also lets you create a draft order directly from any saved cart version in one click.
It’s a great way to recover abandoned carts or complete orders manually when customers run into issues.
