does anyone know how I can make it so that I can put a lifetime limit on a product on my Shopify website so that it can only be purchased once? I have already installed the “Limit Qty Purchase” app. There you can set a lifetime limit, but this limit only applies to customers who are logged in. The problem is that I also need the limit for customers who have made purchases as guests.
I would be happy to find a solution for this. Thanks in advance!

you should try order limit or order logic or order limits by digital takeout.

So this app is actually able to set a lifetime limit for guests? If I set the minimum to 1, the maximum to 100 and the multiple to 1, the customer cant buy the product in a second process after he bought in the first process 4x the product? That would be a solution for us!

Having the same issue and I can’t find the right solution.
I noticed your question about limiting guest purchases. With DC Order Limits, this is hard to enforce reliably because guest checkouts are not tied to a persistent customer account, so repeat purchases are difficult to detect.
Two practical options:
Require login so limits can be enforced consistently for every customer
Keep guest checkout enabled and apply limits only to logged-in customers; then guests are not reliably limited

If you share what limit you are trying to enforce, quantity per customer, per day, or for the whole drop, I suggest the simplest setup.
