Product media URL Upload Error - .mp4 Error Unsupported file type

Hi,

Trying to use the following link from our server to add a video to a product. But I keep getting an unsupported file type error:

https://bigboxart.blob.core.windows.net/productvideos/generic-throw-pillow.mp4

The link is to an .mp4 video file which should be supported so not sure why it isn’t working.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you trying to add a video to the product using theme section?

As far as I know the theme section for video could only support Youtube or Vimeo URL, so any other URL would be rendered invalid file format. You may want to upload to either Youtube or Vimeo and try again.
