Hi can anyone help with knowledge of the Shopify themes, the free themes only – without customization or add-ons – do any of the themes by Shopify include a carousel slider for product thumbnails. It seems like such an obvious thing but from what I see none of them have product thumbnails on the product pages.

Hi @mxwlsn ,

Any of the Shopify 2.0 FREE themes already have this feature included. You just have to change the settings in your Theme Editor.

  1. In your Admin store, click Online store > Themes
  2. Go to the theme you want to edit, click Customize
  3. In top part, change to Product > Default product

4.Click on Product information word on your left hand side, this should open the Section settings on your right hand side.

  1. Change the Desktop layout to Thumbnail Carousel

You are not, they added it on Dawn version 3.0 which was on January. See documentation here
