Hello guys, I have a problem in my product page. I have a product which have 4 variants with different pieces. Now the problem is that if somebody selects the 3rd variant of the 2nd image those are 30 pieces, shopify will automatically select the first 1 variant 3 times as you can see in the first image. How can I change that? I mean if somebody selects the 3rd variant 30 pieces from my product page then shopify should pick the 3rd variant 30 pieces of my inventory.
Topic summary
A Shopify store owner is experiencing an inventory selection issue with product variants. When a customer selects a specific variant (the 3rd variant with 30 pieces), Shopify incorrectly adds the 1st variant three times to the cart instead of the selected 3rd variant.
The Problem:
- Product has 4 variants with different piece counts
- Cart doesn’t match the variant selection made on the product page
- Screenshots show the discrepancy between intended selection and actual cart contents
Proposed Solution:
A respondent suggests this may be related to the bundle discount app being used. They recommend BiDeal Bundle Volume Discount app, which supports variant selection within quantity breaks, allowing customers to choose specific variants for each bundle item.
The issue remains unresolved, with the store owner yet to respond to the suggested solution.
Hi @NikosBat
Thank you for your question.
I’m not sure which bundle discount app are you using, whether they support customer select variants of each bundle or not but with BiDeal Bundle Volume Discount, you can do it like the image below:
This mean if your product have variants, the quantity break will auto show the variants selection to allow customers select them as they want.
If you want to try, I can support you with my app.
I’m looking forward your feedback & help to support you.
Thanks!
