Yet another stupid update, so tired of the stupid - the product page now defaults to “last updated” and when you change it to alphabetical, it defaults to Z-A. I don’t want the first, and it is idiotic that I have to click again to get it in A-Z order. 2 more clicks and a scroll, in addition to all the other uneccesary clicks, keystrokes and scrolls that have been added in the last 2 years of stupid from Shopify.
I believe you mean “product list/grid on collection page”?
Are you aware that default collection sort on the frontend is the one you’ve selected for this collection in admin?
(unless there is some code in your theme to reset this, which is unlikely…)
No, I mean the product page in the admin
I want my products to appear alphabetically again, like they did for the past 7 years that I used Shopify. Since this new update, every single day I have to click the “sort” button MULTIPLE times to find the products I want because I got used to their exact location on the page. I agree that almost every time Shopify has created an update to the User Interface in the last 7 years, it has been something that has made my experience worse.
oh, and you have to click to get to alphabetical order, then click it again to get to the normal A-Z order… unfuckingbelievable.
