Hi all,
This is Shotwise, an AI powered Photo Critique + Optimization app. https://www.shotwiseai.com/
Areas of focus: Photo critique on composition, lighting, storytelling, balance, depth, etc. Focus on e-commerce-ready cleanup, “studio look” corrections.
Ideal usage: Shotwise helps sellers and photographers improve product shots by providing professional critiques and if needed, optimize it fast without reshoots or rebuilding the setup—no swapping backdrops, surfaces, props, or re-tuning lights just to get something usable.
Workflow: You upload a photo → get a blunt, structured critique (scores + exact edit steps) → one-click generate a corrected version (keeps the product shape/colors realistic; avoids heavy stylization/warping).
I’m looking for e-commerce sellers who want feedback on real-world results and critique quality—happy to review a few examples and iterate based on your notes.
Quick example:
This looks like a very useful idea for anyone selling online. The critique first approach feels more practical than just editing tools. I like that it focuses on real product photos and not heavy effects. Saving time without reshoots is a big plus for small teams. The workflow sounds simple and easy to test on a website. Would be interesting to see how the results compare across different products.

@jameswalker Hey James, really appreciate the comment.
“Critique first” is exactly the wedge we’re going for. We think it would be really handy for teams to have the practical suggestions about their shots before making next moves.
You’re also right that how consistent results are across different product types. So we have added multiple new examples across different product categories which you can view on the website now.
If you don’t mind you could tell me what kind of products you shoot most, we can test and prioritize it.
That looks interesting and really useful.

Thanks Turan, really appreciate it.
What kind of products do you usually shoot/sell (e.g., apparel, cosmetics, electronics)?
We’re tuning the critique and optimization to behave consistently across categories, so knowing your product type helps us prioritize examples. If you have a sample shot you’re comfortable sharing (even with branding/details blurred), We can run it through Shotwise and you can see the critique plus the generated result if needed.
